How do you really feel about selling your stuff? You probably know by now that I am more obsessed with mindset than a Buddhist monk. Okay maybe I’m not quite on that level, but thanks to my own mindset work over the years, I like to think I’m on my way. What does this have to do with selling, you ask? Literally EVERYTHING. One of the biggest mistakes I see leaders and entrepreneurs make is diving right into the strategy before they have even considered addressing their beliefs around sales. They have all the business tools and sales scripts in place, but they’re still not actually selling anything. Before you know it, the self-doubt and limiting beliefs come to play, and it all goes downhill FAST. 👎 This recently happened to a client of mine... She was working with another coach and using all the scripts, but she had yet to land a single paying client. Then we started working together and after just seven days, she sold not one, not two, but THREE paying clients. She went from $0 to $7k in ONE MONTH. 🔥 And it all came down to sales. The truth is, she didn’t actually know how to sell. Everything about it felt super forced to her, so as a result, she approached her sales calls from the same inauthentic and intense place. ![]() She had everything she thought she needed to succeed – but all she heard was crickets. Until we started doing the mindset work and making sales more about authentic communication. I helped her tune into herself and what she was truly feeling in the moment. We did some role playing. She listened to her clients’ needs and goals, and began approaching discovery calls from a place of service rather than selling. And suddenly, everything started to come into alignment. There wasn’t anything wrong with what she was selling. It all came down to her fears and the negative thoughts and patterns she associated with sales. In just seven days, we turned her entire sales model around. THIS is the difference working with the right coach can make (as long as you’re ready and willing to put in the work). You can still achieve your most audacious goals before the end of the year! My number one tip? ⬇️ Take a good, hard look at your approach to sales. Good news! I’m currently creating a special offering for you where I’ll be sharing my favourite tips and tools for doing exactly that. These are the same strategies I use with my clients every day, and they’re what helped me make my first 6-figures in just 6 months. Want in? I’m so excited to share with you!

Have you ever had an epiphany after experiencing a seemingly small event? Maybe after watching a 30 second commercial or a Disney movie? I have. 😂 I had a life changing moment after watching the film “Inside Out”. (If you haven’t seen it, you should probably stop everything and go watch it right now.) The movie is based on this premise that our basic emotions control our actions, and our actions control our experiences. When we allow ourselves to be controlled by emotions such as fear, anger, or jealousy, our life experiences also suffer. This is why it’s so important to invest in your own self-development. To get curious about the emotions you are feeling every single day. 😄 😢 😠 By paying closer attention to your emotions, you develop greater self-awareness. And this self-awareness is key to "stopping the cycle". The one where you keep telling yourself, “Everything will be better when...” …I finally hit 10k (or 20k or 50k) months. …I lose the extra 20 pounds. …I have more free time to invest in my relationships. The problem with this pattern is: A) You’re always looking towards the future and then feeling disappointed when you don’t get to where you want to be. B) When you finally reach your goal, you don’t take time to recognize your accomplishment because you’re already focused on the next target. Suddenly, you wake up on your 40th birthday and think to yourself: “Who am I, and how did I even get here?” 🤷♀️ But it doesn’t have to be this way. You can change your future by investing in yourself and your growth right now. And this investment will look different depending on what season of life you’re in. It could mean getting more intentional with your goals. It could mean expanding your inner circle. Maybe it means leaving a toxic relationship. The good news is: you’re not meant to do it alone. If you really want to make a change in your life, then look for support from someone who knows what it takes to make the change happen. Someone who is able to meet you where you are, and help you figure out what’s needed to get to where you want to go next. Someone who can help you identify what emotions (or stories) are controlling your actions (or decisions) and therefore determining your experiences (aka quality of life). This is what I aim to do with my coaching clients. Or do you find yourself hitting the snooze button, throwing the covers over your head and asking the sun to stop rising for five more minutes. ⏰ The answer to whether or not you’re the “rise and shine” type is less about the time of day and more about the way you approach it. What if I told you that you don’t need a morning routine in order to be successful? 🔥 Shocking, I know. It seems like everywhere you look, there’s another self-development guru preaching about the importance of having the perfectly choreographed morning routine. You read headlines like: “Morning Routine Habits of the Most Successful People” “The Ultimate Morning Routine to Increase Your Productivity” “The Morning Routine for Maximum Creativity” You can’t help but feel like everyone else’s mornings seem to be 10x more productive than yours. 😫 But the problem with mornings isn’t you. It’s the false promise that there’s a perfect way to start the day I’m going to let you in on a little secret: morning routines are NOT for me. 🤭 The idea of waking up to a list of tasks I HAVE to do in order to start my day just doesn’t sit well with me. In fact, morning routines make me resent mornings and make me feel guilty. That’s not how I want to start my day (or live my life). My new “morning routine” is simple: I wake up and create space to do whatever feels good in the moment. I don’t set my alarm for 5am every day. I don’t feel pressured to meditate, journal, workout, read a book and drink my green juice first thing in the morning. I wake up with a smile on my face and start my day however I want to. I believe you should be intentional about how you approach your morning, and tap into how you’re feeling (or how you want to feel) that day. You can start by asking the following questions… 1. What do I want morning routines to accomplish? How do I want to show up? Personally, I want to approach my morning in a way that grounds me and connects me to my highest self. I want to use it to set the foundation for the person I want to be that day. 2. What do I want to do in the morning? How do I want to feel? Rather than creating a list of tasks I have to do, I simply create the time and space for what I need on that given day. What will fill up my cup and help me reach my goal of staying grounded and connecting with my highest self? Sometimes that looks like a meditation and workout. Sometimes it’s as simple as sipping on a hot cup of coffee from my balcony overlooking the lake. 3. What is my intention today? What do I need? I take the time to tune in to my mind and body and do whatever I feel inspired to do in that moment. It’s important for me to have the flexibility to adapt to my changing wants and needs, based on the intention I am setting for myself that day. Ultimately, your morning is the perfect opportunity to improve the relationship you have with yourself. Rather than feeling the need to parent yourself, or be your own boss, with a to-do list and rigid framework to follow, it’s about trusting that you will do what’s right for you in the moment. Listen to your body, pay attention to your emotions and be your own best friend. Lean into your day with ease and let the abundance flow. Want more tips like this? Watch this IGTV episode 👇 xoxo,
Vanessa P.S. I’d love to hear about your own morning routine, and whether this exercise resonated. Hit 'reply' and let me know how you start your day! I know you have big dreams for your life but your body may have other plans for you. 😂 Why? - Vanessa I spent years waking up with ANXIETY wondering what I needed to DO to be SUCCESSFUL, and it was exhausting. 📈 Sound familiar? We are surrounded by so many messages glorifying the HUSTLE, ACTION plans, GOAL setting and business STRATEGIES... But what if it is all B.S?? ❌ What if you can find PEACE, HAPPINESS and WEALTH without subscribing to that narrative? What if it doesn’t have to be soo HARD? 📣 ![]() This is exactly why I created my FREE masterclass, ‘MASTER A MILLIONAIRE MIND, WITHOUT THE HUSTLE & GRIND’. I am so excited to share how we can flip the script and create another way. You’ll learn:
Can’t wait to see you live! Xoxo
Vanessa This might be an unpopular opinion… But I’m going to say it anyway. The manifestation trend is failing you and your business. Hear me out… The problem with manifestation is that it’s rooted in control and lack. It’s about learning how to control your thoughts and beliefs, while focusing on what you do not have. And this often manifests into a desire to control your life and your business, in the way you think it “should” be. But we don’t achieve our dreams and become our highest self from a place of control and lack. It happens from a place of surrender and gratitude.🙏 In other words, there’s a big difference between forced action and inspired action. The energy behind forced action is rooted in fear and misalignment, stemming from 'toxic masculinity'. This is where the glorified hustle culture stems from. It’s the old school way of approaching business and self-development, commonly preached by icons like veterans like Tony Robbins and Gary Vee. When you’re coming from a place of forced action, you have your head down and your blinders up. Your to-do list is never-ending. You’re constantly on the go. Inspired action, on the other hand, is about moving slower and turning inwards. It’s about listening to your intuition and keeping your eyes open to the possibilities of where you path will go next – even when it’s not part of the plan. Inspired action is about doing less and achieving more. ![]() While you’re moving slower, you actually end up growing faster because you’re taking the right steps, in the right order. You end up taking a short cut you never would have noticed if you had your head down and your dials turned on full speed ahead. So, how can you tell when you’re taking inspired action versus forced action? You have to dig a little deeper and listen to what your body is telling you. When I’m stuck in action mode, it doesn’t feel right. My anxiety is high, and I’m often overcome with feelings of unease and insecurity. I might even find myself experiencing signs of depression. But when I’m coming from a place of inspired action, I feel super connected to myself and my clients. My mind feels better, my work feels aligned to my purpose and values. And I actually find myself making more money. It’s a beautiful place to be.✨ This is why the hustle culture needs to go. And it’s why I’m encouraging you to re-assess the way you approach manifestation in business (and in life). The process isn’t easy. It can get pretty uncomfortable at times to embrace this state of uncertainty. 🤔 In many ways, it’s like driving down a country road at night. You can see just enough of the road in front of you to feel confident you’re still heading in the right direction. And while you know what your destination is, you don’t know exactly how the route will look like along the way. You have to have faith and trust that you’ll get to where you’re meant to go. Need a little help finding your way?
