This might be an unpopular opinion… But I’m going to say it anyway.
The manifestation trend is failing you and your business.
Hear me out…
The problem with manifestation is that it’s rooted in control and lack. It’s about learning how to control your thoughts and beliefs, while focusing on what you do not have. And this often manifests into a desire to control your life and your business, in the way you think it “should” be.
But we don’t achieve our dreams and become our highest self from a place of control and lack. It happens from a place of surrender and gratitude.🙏
In other words, there’s a big difference between forced action and inspired action.
The energy behind forced action is rooted in fear and misalignment, stemming from 'toxic masculinity'. This is where the glorified hustle culture stems from. It’s the old school way of approaching business and self-development, commonly preached by icons like veterans like Tony Robbins and Gary Vee.
When you’re coming from a place of forced action, you have your head down and your blinders up. Your to-do list is never-ending. You’re constantly on the go.
Inspired action, on the other hand, is about moving slower and turning inwards. It’s about listening to your intuition and keeping your eyes open to the possibilities of where you path will go next – even when it’s not part of the plan.
Inspired action is about doing less and achieving more.
While you’re moving slower, you actually end up growing faster because you’re taking the right steps, in the right order. You end up taking a short cut you never would have noticed if you had your head down and your dials turned on full speed ahead.
So, how can you tell when you’re taking inspired action versus forced action?
You have to dig a little deeper and listen to what your body is telling you. When I’m stuck in action mode, it doesn’t feel right. My anxiety is high, and I’m often overcome with feelings of unease and insecurity. I might even find myself experiencing signs of depression.
But when I’m coming from a place of inspired action, I feel super connected to myself and my clients. My mind feels better, my work feels aligned to my purpose and values. And I actually find myself making more money.
It’s a beautiful place to be.✨
This is why the hustle culture needs to go.
And it’s why I’m encouraging you to re-assess the way you approach manifestation in business (and in life).
The process isn’t easy. It can get pretty uncomfortable at times to embrace this state of uncertainty. 🤔
In many ways, it’s like driving down a country road at night. You can see just enough of the road in front of you to feel confident you’re still heading in the right direction. And while you know what your destination is, you don’t know exactly how the route will look like along the way.
You have to have faith and trust that you’ll get to where you’re meant to go.

You can start with my FREE masterclass: Master a Millionaire Mind Without the Hustle and Grind
It’s taking place next week, with two times to choose from.
Think of someone whose inner circle you’d like to be a part of. Someone you follow or admire… someone you’d love to go for a cocktail with.
Now, what is it that makes you want to be their friend?
Is it their always-camera-ready hair? 💁
Their straight-off-the-runway style? 👠
Is it their Pinterest-worthy home décor? 🏠
Maybe it’s their dreamy business. The online platform they’ve created. Or their adorable dog named “Lulu.” 🐶
You may aspire to be just like them. But what really makes you want to follow them, hang out with them, and maybe even date them, likely comes down to one thing:
It’s the energy they bring that makes you feel inspired every time you’re around them. ✨
Suddenly, you feel like you can make bold moves in your business, or like you can walk away from the toxic relationship that’s no longer serving you. 🔥
It’s like you become your BEST SELF when you’re in their presence.
You notice a difference in your mood, the way you see the world, and the expectations you have of yourself.
Maybe you even see it in your bank account. 💰💰💰
It’s no secret you are highly influenced by the people you spend the most time with. 💯
You adopt their perspectives and beliefs, and their subconscious patterns, judgements and stories influence your own.
This is why, when it comes to choosing your inner circle, you need to channel your inner Oprah and Gayle.
After all, your inner circle gets intimate access to your life, and you should think carefully about who you let in.
⚠️ WARNING: Our friends can also reinforce our bad patterns. We vent to them about everything that’s wrong with the world, and in return, they reinforce these negative thought patterns. ⚠️
❌ You don’t need another friend who’s going to engage while you complain about the job you hate or how you’re living paycheck to paycheck 💵
✔️ You need someone who’s going to call you on your shit. (Even when you don’t want to hear it.)
✔️ You need someone who refuses to allow you to stay in your blind spots and limiting beliefs. Instead, they’re willing to point out when you’re not living as your best self, and offer guidance and support in your journey.
And then, you need to learn how to be that person for someone else.
How can you become the one they think of when they opened this email? The one whose inner circle they want to join?
You have to do the inner work.
How do you go about that?
Well, you can start by downloading this free workbook featuring The 5 Minute Trigger Strategy.

“What would Oprah do?”
I used to ask myself this question when facing difficult decisions in my life and business.
I would actually visualize myself in Oprah’s shoes. I would find a comfortable position, close my eyes, take deep breaths, and channel my inner Oprah. 🧘♀️
I would think about what she would say in the moment, and how she would react. What advice would she give? What support would she offer?
It was an exercise that really served me well as I continued to expand and connect to my highest self.
I wanted to share it with you today so you can try it out.
Think about someone you look up to and admire – a leader who epitomizes the life you want to live.
It doesn’t have to be Oprah. Maybe it’s Sara Blakely or Gabby Bernstein. 👯♀️
Visualize how she would handle the specific challenge or situation you’re facing.
This will help you tune in and strengthen your highest self.
The reality is, I don’t actually know Oprah. I don’t know how she makes decisions or what goes through her mind on a daily basis.
By channeling my inner Oprah, I was actually connecting to what I would do.
Crazy, right? 🤷
When making big decisions in life and business, we often get asked to envision our future selves. But it can be hard to connect to an unfamiliar part of you that you haven't felt yet.
Rather than looking beyond your current self for the answers, try searching within.
Your highest self is already there, waiting for you. You just need to turn off the triggers, wash away the fears and unlearn old patterns and habits in order to access her.
This is where you truly SHINE. ✨
Will you give this exercise a try? I’d love to hear about how you make out. Hit reply to this email and let me know.
P.S. There’s one time of year that always forces me to slow down and reflect on my growth on my path to embodying my highest self. My birthday. As I celebrated my b-day on June 17th, I am putting together a special giveaway for you to thank you for being in my life. Don’t miss out.
“It’s not what you know; it’s who you know.”
How many times have you heard these words?
The truth is, networking has been an essential and invaluable part of building a thriving career and business for centuries.
And while networking strategies have evolved over the years, one constant has always remained: the relationships you build are what drive your business forward.
Social media and the online space brings incredible opportunities for building vital connections that have the potential to transform your career and business.
And these relationships go both ways. Not only does it open doors for expanding your client base, but it also creates opportunities for you to find the right people and skill sets to support your growth.
After all, when it comes to building a business and life you love—one that gives you freedom to do what you enjoy and truly fills your cup—you shouldn’t be looking to “do it all” on your own.
I definitely don’t.
Over the years, I’ve surrounded myself with a team of people who bring unique skill sets that complement my own.
I make it a priority to learn from and work with people who are the best at what they do, so I can focus on my zone of genius. 🤓
Networking just so happens to be in my wheelhouse.
And if I could give you one piece of advice when it comes to building your network, it’s this:
➡️ Take a good, hard look at the value you’re providing.
Networking today isn’t about exchanging business cards or contact info; it’s about exchanging skills, insights and experiences.
You don’t have to be an expert or guru in your field in order to deliver value. You simply need to have something your audience needs or desires.
Then you look at how you can package that value in a way that builds trust with your network and authority in your space.
Anyone who knows me knows I am constantly delivering new value for my audience – through both paid and unpaid products. This includes workshops, events, social media content, emails, Facebook groups, and the list goes on.
As a result, I’ve built an invaluable network of people who believe in what I do, trust me to give them what they need, and are excited to work with me.
🍾 🎉 Speaking of value, I’m currently putting the finishing touches on one of the most value-packed offerings I’ve ever created for my audience!
This will be your step-by-step guide to building a million-dollar Rolodex and mastering a millionaire mind. 🔥🔥

What does your shoe collection say about you?
It might sound like a superficial question, but I swear I have a point…
For those of you who don’t know, my boyfriend and I recently moved out of the city to our dream home by the lake.
And let me tell you…
There’s nothing like the experience of packing up your life in boxes to remind you of the insecurities hiding in your closet (literally).
I happen to have a passion for beautiful shoes.
And over the years, I’ve worked hard to earn the collection of pumps, stilettos, slides and sneakers that line my shelves.
When I was younger, my grandmother instilled in me the idea that having a lot of things was excessive and something to be ashamed of. It meant you were selfish and didn’t know how to manage your money. This negative thought pattern became ingrained in me, even though it wasn’t aligned with my truth.
As a result, I held back from letting my friends and family help because I was scared of what they might think.
But this is no way to live your life (and I don’t recommend trying to “do it all yourself” when it comes to moving, either).
How often do you hold back from showing your true self out of fear of what others will think?
I’m willing to bet it happens more often than you realize.
It’s not unusual for us to let the ideas, opinions and criticisms of others influence how we live our lives. And often, these criticism aren’t even true – we’ve imagined them because it’s what we think others will believe or say about us.
And we start wearing these assumptions as layers, covering up our true selves, because it feels safe.
It reminds me of the story of the Golden Buddha…
One day, in 1957, a Monastery in Thailand was being relocated by a group of monks. They were moving a giant clay Buddha when one of the monks noticed a golden light shining out from behind a giant crack in the clay. After chipping away at the clay exterior, the monks realized the statue was actually made of solid gold. Historians believe the Buddha was covered in clay several hundred years earlier to protect it from being stolen in an attack.
I love this story because it’s so relatable.
As humans, we tend to hide our true, golden selves behind layers of clay as a form of protection. But it’s not until we learn how to chip away at the clay—in other words, address the negative thought patterns, habits and routines we’ve adapted—that we reveal our true beauty.
What would you be capable of achieving if you stepped into the power of your truest self, without letting the opinions of others hold you back?
There’s truly nothing more powerful than the act of living your truth, without letting your limiting beliefs get in the way.
And when you start acting from a place of alignment, it becomes a lot easier to prioritize your own peace and joy.
When I look at my shoe collection, I see all of the hard work I put into getting to this point in my life, where I have the financial freedom to invest in what makes me happy.
And yes, shoes make me happy ☺️
When I slip into a pair of pumps that complement my outfit perfectly, I feel like I can take on the world.
It’s not about the shoes themselves, or the price tag they came with. It’s about how I feel when I’m wearing them.
I am in alignment with my truest self. And this is my favourite place to be.
Are you ready to chip away at your limiting beliefs and step into your true power? It all starts with the way you approach your everyday habits and routines (including your shoe obsession). I created this workshop on How to Build an Aligned Routine to help you move past your mental blocks and embrace your inner Golden Buddha.

Just because I’m a mindset coach doesn’t mean I am not challenged by my mind.
Yes, I’ve done the work. I’ve invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into business and mindset education, coaches and training. But I’m still human.
And managing your mind is always going to be a work-in-progress, no matter who you are or what you do.
I was recently reminded of this when my Instagram following almost doubled in a short timeframe.
Suddenly, I had 10k new followers – and it triggered me.
All these fears started racing through my head. I was asking myself questions like:
What are they going to think?
What if they don’t like me, and they lash out?
The thing about our triggers is: they aren’t about us, they’re engrained in us.
In its basic definition, a trigger is when a behaviour, topic or action sparks an intense emotional reaction, regardless of your current mood.
Knowing what your triggers are (and how to process them) is key to personal and professional growth.
And there are steps you can take to manage the mental shift around your triggers… 🙏
1. Notice when you’re being triggered. Often, we don’t even notice when we’ve been triggered. But this self-awareness is crucial. It’s important to pay attention to your emotions, so you can recognize when you’ve been triggered, and how it makes you feel.
2. Sit with your trigger. In addition to feeling your emotions, recognize how the trigger is making you feel physically. Is it in your throat, your chest, your hands? Acknowledge it and allow it to flow through your body.
After my mom died, I spent years never actually noticing how it felt in my body. Feeling into the emotion made it a lot easier to release and move through.
3. Talk yourself through the trigger. Ask yourself: what’s really going on here? What’s coming up for you in this moment? What are you feeling this way? Whenever you’re feeling out of alignment, it’s because a thought pattern or emotional habit is unfolding in your mind that you’re not acknowledging or that goes against who you are at your core. Talk yourself through it, and look for ways you can soothe the thoughts and emotions that are coming up for you.
When was the last time you felt triggered? Did you recognize it in the moment? I’d love to hear about it.
